Hi, I'm Amy.

A&W Custom Apparel & Gifts was born from the hardest season of my life.

In the spring of 2019, I lost my little brother, Thomas, in a tragic accident. My world went dim, and I found myself searching for something to pour my heart into, something that could bring a little light back into my days. That summer, my daughter, Amber and I started a small boutique called Otis & Ellie.

I truly believe Thomas guided us there. I think he knew we needed each other, and that we could help each other heal.

Amber and I leaned on each other through that season of grief. Side by side, building something together, we slowly found our way back to the light, and we came out of it with a bond that nothing can shake.

What began as a way to keep going quickly became so much more. I started designing t-shirts for the boutique, then hosting online t-shirt parties, and before I knew it, those shirts had taken on a life of their own. Making something that made people smile became my favorite thing in the world. So I took a leap.

I teamed up with my dad, and together we created A&W Custom Apparel & Gifts. The "A&W" stands for Andell & Weaver: my name and my maiden name, my dad's name. This business is quite literally a family name, and it means more to me than I can put into words.

In 2023, we opened a storefront, and getting to do what I loved every day was a dream come true. Today, A&W has moved online so I can reach people near and far. One thing will never change: every shirt, sweatshirt and gift is still made by me, by hand, with the same love that started it all.
